Hello everyone, our friend Gilmar Coutinho was involved in a motorbike accident on 23 May 2024. He was practically dead; he fractured his pelvis, his left knee, his arm, and had to have plates and screws fitted; he also fractured his cervical vertebrae (C7, C3, C4) – C7 is almost touching the spinal cord. The neurologist has said that he will no longer be able to lift more than 5 kilos or carry out various tasks as he used to. Gilmar used to work on a self-employed basis, so he has had no income recently; he still has tests to undergo and many medical appointments, and he still finds it very difficult to walk without crutches. He has started physiotherapy to recover, but it is a long and painful journey. He needs our help; please help in any way you can. It may seem like a small amount to you, but given the situation he is in, it is a huge help.
