Gold Forest House – Let’s build Zemplén’s new forest retreat together!

Hi everyone!

An old dream of mine is coming true in Telkibánya, deep in the forest: I’m building a modern forest cabin that meets every need, the Gold Forest House. My aim is to create a private hideaway where the closeness of nature meets modern luxury.

Where are we now?

The project isn’t just a plan – we’re already in the home stretch! What’s already sorted:

• The structure of the house and the external burnt wood cladding are complete.

• The toilet and bathroom are finished, with underfloor heating and high-quality tiling.

• The interior lighting and entertainment system (TV) are in place.

• Comfort is ensured by a modern dual-function air conditioning system (cooling and heating).

• In the spirit of sustainability, a battery-powered solar panel system has also been purchased and will soon be installed on the roof.

Why are we asking for your help?

To give the house its final, photogenic and liveable form, we need one last big push. We will use the funds raised for the following:

1. Interior flooring: The living room and gallery will be fitted with premium Dakota oak herringbone flooring.

2. The major conversion: We will demolish the old rear building on the plot to create a huge wellness terrace in its place.

3. Wellness experience: This is where the jacuzzi and panoramic sauna will be located, so you can enjoy the tranquillity of the forest even in the deepest snow.

4. Exterior cladding: The entrance and wellness terrace will be clad in modern stoneware tiles and WPC.

We’re in the final sprint! The following have already been completed or purchased:

• The main structure and the charred wood exterior are finished.

• The bathroom and toilet are ready, featuring underfloor heating and premium tiling.

• Interior lighting and entertainment (TV) have been installed.

• A modern dual AC system (heating/cooling) is operational.

• A solar panel system with battery storage has been purchased and is ready for installation.

Why do we need your support?

To make the cabin fully functional and ready for guests, we need one final push. Your contributions will go towards:

1. Interior Flooring: Installing premium Dakota Oak herringbone flooring.

2. The Big Transformation: Demolishing an old structure at the rear to make way for a large wellness terrace.
