The Sweetdancers dance school has recently qualified to represent the Autonomous Region of Madeira at the prestigious All Dance World World Championships in Orlando from 27 November to 2 December 2024. This is a remarkable achievement for our school and for the dancers who have worked tirelessly to reach this goal. Seven dancers will be taking part in this adventure: Juliana Freitas, Inês Drumond, Inês Freitas, Margarida Azevedo, Sara Brazão, Anita Fernandes and Maria Félix, along with their teacher Marisa Fernandes Freitas.

Organising and taking part in an event of this magnitude involves significant costs, including registration fees, travel expenses, accommodation, and costs associated with our dancers’ preparation and costumes. As such, we are seeking financial support for a trip that will cost around €2,300 per dancer. This will be a ‘small’ part of the total amount required.
