Everyone faces difficulties in life. Some have lost someone important, some have been traumatised, and some lack the motivation to change. Financial problems are also common, but they vary in scale. For some, €5 is a big problem because that is what it takes to buy something to eat today. For others, it may be €100,000 to save their business or to have an operation. For me, it is €1 270. That is the amount I need to get back on my feet and start changing my life.

There are many generous people out there, but you have to reach them. Today, I am sincerely asking for help at this critical moment. I need this money to repay my debts, pay my rent and pay my taxes. I realise that personal struggles may not be as compelling as other causes, such as helping victims of war, people with serious illnesses, animals or children. But I am not asking for much. 1 € would be a huge step towards my goal.
