I am a single mother and the head of my household; my daughter and my mum depend on me. My family has been displaced by violence on two occasions, and my mum suffers from an autoimmune disease, so I decided to start from scratch in another country where it would be safe to live, so that I could bring my mum and my daughter to a better future. But the journey has been long and very difficult, and I even feel as though I have taken a step backwards. and although my goal has never been to live in luxury, a decent life is essential for my daughter, my mother and myself, somewhere comfortable and safe to live. However, I have not been able to achieve that goal, and I have now been away from my mother and my daughter for over a year, unable to send them money, unable to return home and unable to bring them here.
