I am reaching out to you with a heartfelt request for help. For a long time now, I have been struggling with depression. According to the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems ICD-10, depression is classified as a depressive episode - F32, which significantly affects my daily life and functioning. Treating this illness involves numerous costs that I, unfortunately, cannot currently afford.

The treatment costs include:

• Medications prescribed by my psychiatrist, which I need to take regularly to maintain emotional and mental stability. The monthly cost of these medications is around 300 PLN.

• Private visits to my psychiatrist, which are essential for monitoring progress and adjusting treatment. The cost of one visit is 250 PLN, and these visits take place once a month.

• Weekly sessions with a psychotherapist, which help me understand and cope with my emotions and life difficulties. The cost of one session is 200 PLN, totaling 800 PLN per month.

Additionally, due to my illness, I had to take a leave of absence from work. The lack of income further worsens my financial situation, which in turn negatively affects my mental well-being.

My savings, which have so far allowed me to cover the treatment costs, are unfortunately running out. Exhausting these funds means I can no longer continue therapy at the current level, which threatens my health and the recovery process.

I would like to return to normalcy, to work, and to my passions as soon as possible. The treatment is yielding the expected results, and I do not want to lose the progress I've made and have to start over. Unfortunately, pharmacotherapy takes time to bring the desired effects. I feel very embarrassed to ask for help, but the situation forces me to take this step.

The total monthly cost of my treatment is around 1400 PLN, in addition to the cost of renting an apartment and living expenses. Any amount, no matter how small, will be a tremendous support for me and will help me continue the therapy that is essential for my recovery.
