Hi everybody! 😊
I never imagined I'd be making an account like this for my little warrior.
My kitten Gombóc suddenly became ill 3 weeks ago, completely unexpectedly. The vet thought it was some sort of stomach inflammation and she received injections and sent us home. The next day it got even worse (she fell over on her own, didn't eat or drink, just dragged her legs). The doctor gave her injections again, she also gave her steroids. Then on the 3rd day, a blood test was taken, which showed end-stage renal failure. In the following days, even more tests were carried out and in the meantime we switched to diet foods and medicines. However, she only got worse, they recommended euthanasia, which I did not accept, so I looked for a nephrologist in the country and took her to her. She was diagnosed with kidney inflammation, and she was given antibiotics and an infusion. A week has passed since then, Gombóc relapsed a few days ago, she does not want to eat or drink on her own. She vomits a lot and lethargic all day. I feed and drink her with a syringe. In addition, she get several vitamins and nutritional supplements. In the next few days, she will be examined even more to find out what is really wrong with her. He deserves to finally be healthy again.
However, I can no longer manage the veterinary costs on my own. I already asked for a loan from my family and friends, I also managed to take out a small loan from the bank, but so far the veterinary costs have been about €1,000 (400,000 HUF - $1,100). I am asking for your help with this. If you can help with just a little amount, it means the world to us.
Thank you very much everyone.
