A call for hope, dignity and healing in the heart of a forgotten community

Dear friends with good hearts and warmth in your souls

We all have the right to health, safety and the dignity of receiving care when we are in need. However, for many of those peoples which lives in remote areas of Romania, access to these basic needs remains a distant dream. Here, in the midst of an elderly and vulnerable community, many people face disease and suffering every day without hope of help.

We, Esthera and Andrew, a family of dedicated healthcare professionals, want to change this reality. My wife, a dual-specialty doctor in family medicine and intensive care, and I, a licensed general nurse, have chosen to join our lives and vocations to bring relief and care to those in desperate need of support. We are motivated by our passion for unconditional help and the desire to be close to these people, to listen to them, to encourage them and to ensure their access to medical care.

Our dream is to open a medical practice dedicated to this community and offer home consultations to those who, due to financial conditions and isolation, do not have the possibility to reach a doctor. This is not just a medical project, but a covenant of solidarity and humanity. For many of these people, even a simple medical visit can mean a new lease on life, a ray of hope and a helping hand when they need it most.

To make this dream come true, we need your support. In such an area, access is difficult and safe transport and medical equipment are essential. We want to purchase an all-terrain vehicle and an Ambulance equipped with the necessary equipment to reach where the need is greatest, but also to provide appropriate care on site. Unfortunately, our income cannot afford to purchase these essential resources.

So, we appeal to your kindness and generosity, to your desire to contribute together to a real and profound change. Any donation, no matter how small, is a step forward to ensure the health and dignity of these people. With your help, we can give them not only medical care, but hope that they are not forgotten, that they are part of a larger community that supports them.
