It is a pleasure to welcome you and thank you for taking the time to read my story!

I was diagnosed with a 5 cm tumour on my right ovary in the summer of 2023, which spread rapidly and unfortunately led to several serious surgeries. Following chemotherapy, I had surgery in January 2024 to remove my ovaries, uterus, peritoneum, part of my large and small intestines and a piece of my diaphragm. The operation was followed by further chemotherapy treatments and I am currently on medication to prevent the development of breast cancer because I am BRCA positive.

This process has been very trying, not only physically but also financially. To support the family budget and bring joy into my life, I started painting mandalas. For me, painting is more than a hobby: it is a healing, calming and heart-warming activity, where every brushstroke brings me a little closer to my inner harmony. Painting and creating mandalas helps me to bring positive energy into my life, and I hope to pass this on to others through my paintings.
