My name is Maties Alexandru and I have been working in the chauffeur service sector for over 10 years, mainly in Budapest, Hungary. Over the past decade, I have been involved in the day-to-day running of the service, gaining solid practical experience in both professional processes and customer relations, as well as in organising a reliable and efficient system.

The chauffeur service is a road safety solution, used particularly by people who have consumed alcohol and arrived at an event in their own car. This service allows them to get home in their own car, but in complete safety, avoiding drink-driving, road accidents and serious legal consequences.

According to European statistics, Romania ranks among the top countries in the European Union in terms of the number of serious and fatal road accidents. Particularly on weekend nights and after entertainment events, an alarming number of accidents are recorded, many of which are caused by alcohol consumption.

Due to the lack of a real alternative:

• many drivers choose to drive under the influence of alcohol,
• they underestimate their condition,
• or do not wish to leave their car unattended.

Unfortunately, there is hardly a weekend in Romania without serious or fatal road accidents caused by drink-driving. These events are not mere statistics, but tragedies that destroy entire families and communities.

My aim is to bring to Romania the experience I have gained over more than 10 years of working in Budapest and to launch a modern chauffeur service that offers a safe and responsible alternative to drink-driving.

The central element of the project is the development of a modern, user-friendly mobile app through which people who have consumed alcohol can:

• quickly request a driver,
• 24 hours a day,
• simply and efficiently,

and the driver will drive the customer’s own car, ensuring a safe return home.

International experience clearly shows that in countries and cities where chauffeur services are available and well-known, the number of alcohol-related road accidents drops significantly, particularly at night and at weekends.

If this project is successfully implemented in Romania:

• the number of drivers driving under the influence of alcohol will decrease,
• the number of fatal accidents will be significantly reduced,
• road safety will improve nationwide,
• lives will be saved.

This initiative is not just a business venture, but a project with a major social impact.

The funds raised will be used for:

• developing and launching the mobile app for requesting drivers,
• promoting and raising awareness of the service,
• producing video content and awareness campaigns,
• web development and the creation of a professional online presence.

Every donation brings us closer to a shared goal: fewer accidents, fewer tragedies and greater safety on Romania’s roads.
