In August 2015, I took over the family business – a local café – from my mother when she retired, and I ran it until 2018. In 2016, I started falling into debt and considered closing the business. Due to false hope, manipulation, and lies from my parents, driven by their own interests, I found myself trapped and, in August 2018, unexpectedly left without a job and with a €20,000 debt to the state. My mother had promised to pay off the debt to the state with the money from selling the business, but she didn’t follow through.

In 2019, I also separated from my former partner.

After paying alimony, rent, debts to the child support fund, and taxes, I am left with very little.
