Hello, my name is Maria Kamenidou, and I want to share with you the story of a house filled with memories, emotions, and hope.

This house is located in Prosotsani, Drama, Greece, a small town where I grew up. It is a stone house built in 1930, half of which my mother inherited. Unfortunately, the other half belongs to different owners, and in order to renovate it, I first need to purchase it.

Although it is currently abandoned and uninhabitable, my dream is to restore it and transform it into a traditional guesthouse. A home for many, a place where people from all over the world can experience the authentic beauty of my homeland. I want to create a space filled with warmth, hospitality, and memories, bringing people closer together.

The Plan

The house has a total area of 200 sq.m.(100 sq.m. ground floor and 100 sq.m. upper floor). My goal is to renovate it while preserving its traditional character. It has stone foundations, stone walls on the ground floor, and brick walls on the first floor. I want to keep its authentic feel while making it functional and modern.
