I have been suffering from depression for several years due to personal problems that I cannot share here. Despite the depression I have always worked and have a salary. However, due to depression for the last 3 years I started to take refuge in food and unnecessary expenses, so I took the bad decision to borrow from banks and companies that give quick loans at very high interest rates. I took out the loans thinking that I would be able to pay them back but I fooled myself. Things got out of control and I got into too much debt. By spending money I was taking refuge from my reality so that I wouldn't think about things anymore. I am aware that it was stupid but I can no longer change the past. The fact that my debts are too much on my paycheck creates a lot of anxiety, my sleep quality is very bad, I feel tired and emotionally worn out. In spite of this, whenever possible I work overtime but I still can't get out of debt because the interest on some loans grows every day and keeps me stuck.
