Please help us create a dementia-friendly environment!

At the Care Home for the Elderly, we work day in, day out to ensure our residents lead safe and dignified lives. An increasing number of older people living with dementia require residential care, and they have special needs. For them, not only care but also a suitably designed environment is of fundamental importance.

The aim of our fundraising campaign is to create a dementia-friendly environment that helps residents find their way around, reduces anxiety, increases their sense of security, and helps our residents retain their independence for as long as possible.

We will use the donations received for the following improvements, amongst others:

• replacing internal doors and making them accessible to facilitate movement,
• further improvements to the facility’s accessibility so that all our residents can move about safely and more independently,
• fitting synthetic resin flooring in the corridors, which provides a safer, more uniform and easier-to-clean surface

Every donation counts! Even a small donation brings us closer to creating an environment for our residents where they can feel safe and live their daily lives with dignity.
