There comes a point when you just don’t want to sugar-coat anything anymore. You don’t want to explain why you’re asking for help, and you don’t want to pretend that everything’s fine.
Nothing is fine with us right now.
My little girl is just starting school. At a time like this, the most important thing for a mother should be to ensure her child has everything she needs and can prepare for her first day at school with peace of mind.
Meanwhile, for us, it’s a serious concern as to how we’ll manage to cover the next necessary expense.
At CCC, a simple size exchange has led to a situation where we currently have neither the shoes nor the refund. And this is just before the start of term.
And then there’s my little girl’s glasses.
The glasses made previously were based on the prescription written at that time. However, according to the most recent examination, she needs glasses with a significantly different prescription, so we have to have a new pair made.
The cost of the glasses we’d already paid for therefore represents another serious financial loss for us.
In the meantime, I have sought help from charities and companies, and submitted applications for grants. We have now received another rejection.
And our 4fund fundraising campaign isn’t progressing as quickly as we need it to.
And in the meantime, I’m trying to cope. As a mother. As a sick person. At a time when I, too, could do with some help.
I’m not asking anyone to sort out our lives for us.
What I’m asking is that, if you can, you help make this period a little easier.

Please help a three-generation Hungarian family get through the challenges of a difficult period of surgery.
Dear Supporters!
We are a Hungarian family spanning three generations, who have been struggling with health and financial difficulties for a long time.
My mother is 66, I am 47, and my little girl will soon be 7. Unfortunately, all three of us are facing serious health problems.
Since 2011, I have been battling a rare form of cancer, leiomyosarcoma. Over the past few years, I have undergone several major operations, as well as chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Due to my illness, I am currently undergoing medical examinations again and am facing another difficult period of surgery.
My little girl has a chronic immune disorder and is undergoing immunological and endocrinological treatment. She requires regular medical check-ups, treatments, medication and other necessary supplies.
My mother, who is 66, has a cerebral aneurysm, so she too needs constant medical attention and regular check-ups.
Due to the illnesses and treatments of recent years, as well as our difficult circumstances, our savings have now been completely depleted. We have now reached the point where I have to ask for help, as I can no longer provide everything we need on my own.
We would like to use the support to ensure that our housing and day-to-day living costs are covered, to cover the cost of medicines, essential medical supplies and travel to medical appointments, and to give us the strength and means to get through this difficult period of surgery and recovery.
The target amount of €8,000 would help us face the challenges ahead with greater peace of mind and ensure that our family’s basic needs are met.
It’s not easy to ask for help, but I’m doing so now for three people: my mother, my little girl and myself.
Our aim is to get through this difficult period safely and to have the opportunity to continue fighting for our health and our lives.
Any support, however small the amount, is a huge help to us. If you’re unable to help financially, simply sharing our story is a massive help in itself.

Egy édesanya, egy kislány és egy nagymama próbál talpon maradni egy olyan élethelyzetben, amelyet egyedül már nem tudunk megoldani. Három generáció. Egy család. Egyetlen közös cél: biztonságban továbbmenni. A célunk nem egy álom megvalósítása. Nem luxus. Nem egy könnyebb élet. Biztonságot szeretnénk. Egy esélyt arra, hogy tovább tudjunk menni. Lehet, hogy számodra egy támogatás csak egy összeg. Nekünk viszont lehet belőle egy számla, egy szükséges vizsgálat, egy utazás, egy átmeneti megoldás, egy olyan nap, amikor nem kell azon gondolkodnunk, hogyan oldjuk meg a következőt. És igen: tudjuk, hogy nagyon sokan kérnek segítséget. Tudjuk, hogy nem lehet mindenkinek hozzájárulni. Ezért nem is akarjuk azt mondani, hogy „muszáj támogatnod minket”. Nem muszáj. Ha most nincs lehetőséged hozzájárulni, egy megosztással is közelebb hozhatsz minket a célunkhoz. Ha pedig lehetőséged van támogatni, bármilyen összeg számít, és soha nem fogjuk kevésnek látni. Mert sok kis segítségből egyszer csak lehet egy nagy esély. A gyűjtésünk ellenőrzött, a szükséges dokumentumokat benyújtottuk, és a történetünket a frissítésekben folyamatosan követhetitek. Nem azt kérjük, hogy higgy nekünk vakon. Nézd meg. Olvasd el. Ismerd meg a történetünket. És utána dönts úgy, ahogy a szíved és a lehetőségeid engedik. Mi pedig addig sem adjuk fel.
