my name is Darija and I’m the daughter of Maximilian. I’m reaching out with a request to help me save my father’s home — a home he poured his soul into, and sadly the one that’s now collapsing.

My father is an artist, a painter, a dreamer. Years ago, he designed and started building a unique family house. But despite his passion, the house was built on unstable ground and without solid foundations. Over the years, the soil underneath has started to sink due to water erosion, and the structure is now in serious danger.

Over the decades, water has slowly infiltrated the ground, causing the underlying bedrock to crumble and the terrain to sink. The house, once secure and full of life, now rests on ground that is literally falling away beneath it. As it was built in a cascade, the bedrock that is between 2 cascades is crumbling, pushing one side of the house to a ground. The erosion has compromised the foundation, and today, the home is no longer safe to live in.
