PLEASE HELP ME HOLD ON TO HOPE 

My name is Samuel, I’m 21 years old, and I’m a university student. Writing these words is not easy for me. Until recently, I tried to face everything on my own — with courage and pride — but now I find myself in a situation that has become too heavy to carry alone, and I need to ask for help. Over the past few months, my life has changed drastically. I’m overwhelmed by expenses I can no longer afford: overdue rent, small debts I took on just to get by, bills, and basic necessities. I don’t have a stable job, and despite searching constantly, it’s been incredibly difficult to find one. I’m still studying because, deep down, I still believe in a better future. But every day is a battle — against anxiety, against guilt, against the fear of losing everything. My parents would love to help me, but sadly they can’t. They are also going through a difficult time and simply don’t have the resources to support me financially. I love them deeply and I know they would do anything for me if they could — but we’re all struggling right now, and I’ve reached the point where I can’t do this alone. I’ve always been someone who tries to manage on his own, who hesitates to ask for help. But today, with an open heart, I’m asking. Not for charity, but for a chance. For a little bit of air, a little bit of peace, and the opportunity to keep going — to finish my studies and fight for the life I’ve always dreamed of. The money raised will help me pay overdue rent, cover urgent debts, and meet basic living expenses while I continue my studies and search for a job.
