Description
Hello everyone
My name is Keti. I come from a poor family, which is why neither I nor my two siblings received anything for Christmas, so I’d like to ask for some help.
I can’t go out to work because, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to finish secondary school due to financial difficulties. I have two younger brothers; one is 16 and has tuberous sclerosis with epilepsy, and for the past few years my parents have had to look after both of them, which means they are unable to work. My younger brother is 11 and still at primary school; fortunately, he is healthy. However, because of my older brother’s condition, we are not in a good financial position, so we cannot afford the luxury of buying presents.
I’d like to give them, even belatedly, what others receive, so that my younger brother doesn’t have to feel ashamed at school when he’s asked, ‘What did you get for Christmas?’ I’ve been through it myself – it was humiliating and painful – and I’d like to spare him that.
With the money, first and foremost I’ll buy my two younger brothers the things they’d wanted under the tree for Christmas, and secondly, I’ll buy myself the thing I’ve wanted for years.
I’d be grateful if you’ve read this and helped me achieve my goal; thank you very much.
