My name is Jorge and I am self-employed, the owner of a car wash that has been my livelihood and that of my family for the last 10 years. This business has been more than just a job; it has been a place where I have been able to look after my wife and children, and provide them with a decent life.

However, I am facing a critical situation. The owner of the premises has decided not to renew the lease, which expires in May, as she plans to sell the property. Despite my efforts to offer her payment in instalments with a reasonable deposit, she has been inflexible and has rejected my proposal, demanding full payment of €100,000 and telling me that if I don’t have it, I shouldn’t bother. In order to continue operating and avoid falling into poverty by being forced to close my business.

Unfortunately, as I have been self-employed for 11 years, I am not eligible for unemployment benefits and cannot afford to rent another premises. Without this help, not only would I lose my business, but my family would also find themselves in a very difficult situation.

That is why I am turning to you today in the hope that you can help me raise the funds needed to buy the premises. Every donation will help keep my business going and secure a future for my family.
