Hello everyone

My name is Sára Fedáková,I’m21 years old, and I work as a customer service representative for CEZ, because I enjoy communicating with people and helping them. 

Until I was 14, I lived in a family home with my grandparents; those were the most wonderful moments of my childhood, which I remember with a smile on my face. After that, my parents and I moved into a flat in a block of flats. After a year, I realised how much I missed that little house – for various activities such as barbecues, birthday parties in the garden, the swimming pool filled up in the summer, and harvesting the vegetable patch with my grandmother. Ever since then, I’ve been dreaming of having my own little house. When I was 17, I met my boyfriend, to whom I confided my dream, and now we’re dreaming it together. We’ve been living together in a rented flat since I was 19.

My boyfriend Erik is 25 years old; he works as a chef in a care home, and he enjoys it mainly because he wants to put a smile on the elderly residents’ faces with good food. Until he was 18, he lived with his parents in a family home. That’s why our life goals are shared.

Our dream is to own our own home and provide a stable foundation for our future family.

To get a mortgage, we need to meet certain conditions that are currently out of our reach, so we’re asking for your help to cover a percentage of the cost of the mortgage and the expenses involved in renovating the house.

We realise that it is not just us who are struggling, which is why we want to start helping young couples. Through this fundraiser, we want to inspire young people not to be afraid (or ashamed) to ask for help, even in this way, because we believe that there are still good people in the world.
