I am Dimitris Kretzas, a young man determined to return to my village, Morfi, in Voi, Kozani, which is located in the Pindos mountain range on Mount Voio at an altitude of 840 meters - a small community with few inhabitants, facing a serious problem of desertification.

For generations, families from Morfi and other villages in the area have migrated to cities or abroad in search of opportunities, leaving behind the homes and landscapes they once called home.

Thus the house that existed in the village , slowly began to decline from abandonment and zero maintenance, and as a result is no longer habitable.

I am one of the few people who want to and continue to visit the village which I grew up going to in the summers and have the fondest childhood memories with my grandparents.

With the right support, I can transform this little paradise. Your help will be of great benefit in repairing and renovating

the old house of my grandparents, who emigrated from there to America for many years, then returned back to Greece.

and many years ago they passed away.

1. Home Restoration - With the right support, and a lot of personal work , I want to be able to fix the damage to the house, the windows, doors, paint the inside and outside, fix the plumbing, the floor, the outside garden surrounding the house, the kitchen with the fireplace, the yard, and restore the damage from the wear and tear of time as well as maintain and repair its furniture and get some new ones.

2. Garden Restoration - I want to restore the garden of the house as it used to be when grandparents lived there, with all kinds of trees, fruits and vegetables, flowers, trees and plants.
