I hope to raise some money. I plan on using the money to buy food and essential products from the supermarket and take them to a drop centre where they will be taken to the affected areas.

People living in those areas have lost at best their car. 100,000 have been registered as missing. But many have lost either the entire contents of their home, their actual home, their business, school or a loved one.

They have seen bodies in the street, in cars or piled up together.

Some areas still have no electricity or water. They have to queue for hrs or walk for miles to get food hand outs.

The areas now stink of sewage as the flood has destroyed the sewage systems and mixed with the mud. Infections like tetanus are now a danger.

At night, residents take shifts to stay awake as theives are raiding homes and shops out of their own desperation. There is no police presence at night. To try and sleep they wear double masks to try and reduce the smell from the streets. Their days are spent moving mud and queuing for a food hand out.
