The world is rushing. Disconnecting. Pulling our children further from life, from soil, from silence… from themselves.

My name is Hliana. I’m a mother of two, and I live in Greece — a place rich in land, spirit, and story… but slowly forgetting its roots.

I’ve carried a dream for years. Not a startup. Not a career move.

A deep, quiet vision to create a living place where children can grow up the way our hearts know they should.

A homestead school.

A place where learning begins with bare feet in the garden, morning chores with goats, bread made from scratch, and hearts full of knowing where they belong.

I call it Autarkeion — from the Greek word for self-reliance.

A name that holds the values we’re trying to bring back into the world:

simplicity, resilience, reverence, and care.

🌿 What we’re building:

– A self-sufficient school and homestead in Eastern Greece

– Wooden learning cabins powered by the sun

– Animal care, seasonal gardening, herbal medicine & fire cooking

– Slow, natural education for children aged 3–12

– A "home" for families who believe that wholeness begins with the land

I’m not a foundation. I’m not a campaign manager.

I’m just a mother with a shovel, a heartbeat, and a vision I can’t ignore anymore.

Right now, I need help from those who get it.
