Hello, my name is Robo, and I’ll soon be celebrating my 45th birthday. I was born to the most devoted mother as one of a pair of twins; sadly, my sister Zuzka died shortly after birth, and I was diagnosed with ‘spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy’, which essentially means I am confined to a wheelchair and rely on the help of my loved ones.

This year has started on a positive note for me, as I’ve been approved for an electric wheelchair. For me, this wheelchair means greater independence, more experiences and, last but not least, a relief for my loved ones from having to push a standard wheelchair 🙂. 

With your support, you will help me become more independent thanks to the electric wheelchair and relieve my loved ones of the burden of pushing a manual wheelchair. Any additional funds will be used to pay for treatment in Kováčová, which is very helpful. 

The money will be used to cover the patient’s co-payment for the electric wheelchair, which is 33.86% of the total cost of the wheelchair (€5,470).

I would like to use the remaining money for treatment in Kováčová, which helps me a great deal, but unfortunately I am not currently eligible for it through my health insurance, as I am not immediately post-operative.
