"Give us tatami mats!"*

The Microcosmic Sports Association's training facility, Microcosmic Gym & Dojo, is moving to Újbuda Centre.

Our beloved gym is visited by dozens of children and teenagers for martial arts and functional training. Over the past few years, as our members have grown, we have outgrown our existing premises and had to look for a new location. The move is being accelerated by the fact that the building that currently houses Microcosmic Gym & Dojo is going to be demolished.

Fortunately, we have found a place that is more spacious, more usable and more frequented, in the Újbuda Centre. This means that the move will be a step forward in every respect:

🥋a much wider and larger tatami surface than before

🏋️a huge gym, "open gym" for parents during training sessions

🏙️we are moving to an easily accessible, high-end location in a shopping centre 

We would like to build a gallery to complement this perfect location, and all the plans are already in place. However, the cost of the steel structure exceeds our sports club's budget.

We ask everyone to support the Sports Association's move with the price of a tatami mat, if possible. One tatami mat costs approximately £10,000. Those who are able to do so can support us with the price of several tatami mats.

We are grateful for even the smallest amounts, which will be used to finance the Dojo's relocation.

*The donations will not necessarily be used to purchase foam tatami mats, but will be used to finance other costs of the move.
