Hello, my name is Patricia. I have a younger brother, Martin. We recently lost our mum following a very serious illness. She battled a vicious disease for over a year, but ultimately lost the fight. Now it’s just me and my brother. As he’s still a minor, I have to look after him. A children’s home is absolutely out of the question. As all the money I earned went towards the care my mum needed, I’m left with almost nothing in my bank account. Money is important to me so that I can provide my brother with food and, of course, as he’s still a student, to cover his travel to school. Every euro will help us.
Of course, I’d also like to use the money to fulfil my brother’s dream of travelling around Slovakia. He’s never been further afield than the local area. His big dream is to go and hike in the Tatras.
