Be Their Hope-Please Help Krisztina Cat Sanctuary💛🐾

Description

My name is Krisztina, and I run a small Cat Sanctuary, where I currently care for 16 rescued cats, including two families affected by FeLV (feline leukemia) + FIP. 🐱💛

Three years ago, after the passing of two neighbors who had been caring for them, these cats were left homeless, hungry, and defenseless. They are incredibly gentle and loving, but sadly their health is fragile.

Although they may look healthy in the photos,

both families are affected by leukemia-related immune disorders, and two of them are now critically ill:

One young female survived pneumonia, but her condition still fluctuates, and her neck lymph nodes remain enlarged.

She would need interferon immune-boosting treatment, but it is very expensive. 😔

Another young female was taken in for spay surgery, but due to abdominal fluid, the procedure could not be completed. She was then diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) and is pregnant. Surgery must be performed during her 85-day treatment program to prevent her from giving birth to sick kittens. Every lost life is deeply felt. 😢

I don’t show the difficult moments of illness, because the cats’ dignity is more important to me.

I choose to show their best moments, not their worst.

Because even the sickest cats deserve dignity, love, and a peaceful life. 💛🐾

These are the moments that matter.

These cats are not just individuals — they are deeply bonded families.

Their siblings are strongly attached to them, and they are rarely apart.

One of the mother cats is incredibly loving — even after her kittens reached six months of age, she continued to nurse them. She also cares for the other mother’s kittens as if they were her own.

They truly are one big, loving family. 💛🐾

At Krisztina Cat Sanctuary, my cats need medical treatment, special food, and supportive nutritional supplements.

I am struggling to cover the costs of veterinary care and these essential supplies on my own. I have already done everything I can, but the expenses are beyond my means.

I am currently on disability, so the cost of their treatments exceeds my financial means. I do my best to help abandoned cats in Hungary, but I cannot do it alone.

I believe it’s important to be transparent about how your donations will be used:

FIP and FeLV are not only serious diseases — they mean a long-term and extremely costly fight for survival.

FIP treatment requires specialized antiviral medications (GS-441524 / remdesivir), regular blood tests, and frequent veterinary check-ups.

Due to FeLV, cats have weakened immune systems, making them highly vulnerable to infections and cancer.

This is not a one-time expense. These cats need continuous, long-term care and support.

Every donation gives them a chance at a safer, pain-free life. 💔🐾

Please help me support Krisztina Cat Sanctuary and give these cats a chance to survive and live a safe, happy life. 😺

I would be deeply grateful for any support you can provide. 💝

Thank you so much for your time, compassion, and for caring about animals. 😻

With gratitude,

Krisztina Csűri from Hungary, trying to save little lives. 🥰🐈‍⬛

Little Paws, Big Hearts 🐾💛

Tiny paws that tremble,

eyes so bright, yet gentle.

Every day they fight and play,

holding on in their own way.

A little food, a drop of care—

your love can answer their prayer.

Give warmth, give love, give hope,

help these little hearts survive and shine. 😺
