The aim of Völgyerdő Nonprofit Kft. is to create and protect habitats where nature is not a secondary consideration, but the very purpose itself.

As part of our nature conservation work, we purchase land, preserve it and restore it to a more natural state. We aim to create places where native plants, insects, birds, amphibians, reptiles and mammals can find a safer haven, and where natural processes can take their course as freely as possible.

We also consider raising awareness to be important. We want to show that even a small area can be home to many living creatures, and that nature conservation does not have to begin only in large national parks or remote wilderness areas, but can also start locally, through our own sense of responsibility.

We use the funds raised from our collections to create habitats, maintain nature conservation areas, protect native species, manage habitats, produce information materials and carry out awareness-raising work.

Every donation helps to ensure that there are more areas where nature can thrive in safety, and where living creatures are given space not as a source of profit, but as beings that are important in their own right.
