Support for Ida – fighting cancer is not just about chemo

Our Ida is 5.5 years old, full of ideas and with a heart bigger than the world.

In May, we heard the words no one ever wants to hear: hepatoblastoma – a rare malignant liver tumor.

From that moment, everything changed. Our lives turned upside down.

We’re now facing months of intensive treatment: chemotherapy, tests, surgery.

We’re doing everything we must and everything we can — but cancer treatment isn’t just about the hospital.

Ahead of us lie:

• adapting Ida’s room so she can recover safely at home,
• transport, medications, supplies and essentials that aren't covered by insurance,
• rehabilitation and psychological support, so she can return to being herself after this storm.

We do have insurance — but it will only cover part of the cost.

We can’t handle the rest on our own. Ida can’t be left alone — and we won’t leave her side for a second.

Despite the incredible support from family and friends, the ability to work will now be extremely limited.

This founds will help cover:

• adapting Ida’s room,
• essential treatment-related expenses,
• rehabilitation and post-treatment care,
• and a safety buffer for unforeseen situations.

If we manage to raise more — every extra penny will go toward Ida’s healing and building a world where cancer doesn’t play the leading role – and to support other kids going through the same.
