It is with a heavy heart that we turn to you today to ask for your help. This is an urgent matter that is very close to our hearts. In our town of Calpe, in the beautiful region of Alicante in the Valencian Community, there is a family of wild boars. This family consists of three adult wild boars - one male and two females - and ten to fifteen young.

Unfortunately, some uninformed people have started to feed and water the wild boars instead of leaving them in their natural habitat. Although this was done out of a good heart, it resulted in the animals losing their natural shyness and now roaming around in search of food.

The city officials have decided to sell the wild boars to a sausage factory as if they have a right to these animals. This is a shocking and heartless plan that we cannot accept.

Fortunately, we have found a rescue centre that is willing to take in the wild boars and provide them with a safe and natural home. However, we need around 30,000 euros to finance the transport and fencing of the outdoor enclosure. We cannot raise this sum on our own.

We therefore ask you from the bottom of our hearts to support us in this urgent matter. Every donation, no matter how small, brings us closer to our goal of providing these wild boars with a new and safe home. Your support is crucial to realising this project and giving the animals a second chance.

Please help us to give these animals a dignified life and to fight together against this aberration.
