Tuchape Story (loosely translated –tell your story) is a digital storytelling for social change platform targeting youths to help in developing role models in the society for positive social change. Storytelling is a powerful tool that can Educate, Empower, Motivate, and Inspire hope in the Community. Many people, including women and youth, are going through a lot in this era, and Storytelling for Social Change can help them by reminding them that they can make it in life. Many women and youth have lost hope in life for many reasons, and it’s our duty as a community to bring them back to life so as to have the oomph to pursue their career goals.

The project leverages on the power of narratives to amplify voices, foster community engagement, build confidence, motivate, educate and drive positive transformation in the community.

The most meaningful stories come from people with authentic and insightful experiences to share, even though they may not be skilled storytellers. The project entails conducting research, identifying, validating, recording and editing short and impactful videos of inspirational leaders who have overcome social challenges and the final videos will be posted online for learning, motivation and inspiration purpose. The videos will be shared on our Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube pages for a wider engagement with the target group.
