Hello, my name is Renata. I'm not even 40 yet, and I would love to look toward the future with hope – if you can help me make that possible.

Right now, I live alone, with no family or close friends to turn to. I’ve been battling serious health problems that have severely limited my life and made it impossible for me to work or earn enough to cover even my basic needs.

I suffer from multiple hernias, including a very painful one in the scar left after gallbladder surgery. My abdominal wall is badly damaged, my intestines are partially obstructed, and any wrong movement could lead to strangulation – a life-threatening condition. I also struggle with back pain and difficulty breathing due to the internal pressure.

A cheaper surgery was denied because of my weight – a condition I can’t improve while in constant pain and unable to move freely. I’ve been recommended a higher-quality procedure that could finally break this vicious cycle – but it’s financially out of reach.

My monthly income is around €500, from which I must pay for rent and food. Most months, I'm left with just a few euros to spare. I have no access to support from the state or my surroundings, and time is working against me – the longer the surgery is delayed, the worse my condition becomes.

The total amount I need to cover the surgery and related expenses is €25,000, including:

• Specialist abdominal hernia surgery
• Hospital stay and medications
• Post-operative care and recovery support
• Transportation to and from medical facilities
• Basic living expenses during the healing period

I'm not a professional artist – I only paint as a hobby – but as a small thank you, I would love to send one of my hand-painted artworks to a randomly selected donor as a small token of gratitude after the campaign ends.
