Help keep the DEPO story going!

Club DEPO (Riga, Latvia) is the oldest club in the Baltic States, having been in operation since 2002. The club has been one of the most significant venues on the alternative music scene. Over the years, it has been a venue for both well-known and brand-new bands, from Latvia and all over the world. More than two hundred bands play concerts here every year, and the total number of bands that have performed here throughout its existence exceeds five thousand.

Due to a change in ownership, we are forced to leave the premises where we have been based for over 23 years.

We have found new premises, but to turn them into a fully-fledged club, we need your support – both moral, so that we can understand just how much someone needs this, and financial.

Financial support is needed for renovating the premises and installing a good sound and lighting system.

In the new premises, we will continue along the same lines as before, with performances by both well-known acts and lesser-known but talented foreign bands. We’re working to ensure the stage at the new venue is more comfortable for musicians and better equipped, which will allow us to invite more prominent artists and, who knows, perhaps there’ll be room for an electronic music event again.
