My name is Matea, I am 32 years old, and I am non-binary. I am launching this fundraiser to help me take a vital, life-changing step: undergoing gender-affirming top surgery.

For many years, navigating severe chest dysphoria has heavily impacted my daily life, my mental wellbeing, and my freedom to just be. Binding for hours on end is exhausting and physically painful, while hiding my body restricts me from fully participating in life. For me, top surgery is not a cosmetic choice or a luxury—it is essential healthcare that will allow me to finally feel aligned, safe, and at peace within my own skin.

To make this happen, I am aiming to raise 3.500 € to cover the procedure at a private clinic here in Croatia, which will bypass years of overwhelming public waiting lists.
