STORY: “WHY I DECIDED TO STAND UP FOR OUR PLANET”

When I was a child, the world seemed endless to me. The forests were dense, the rivers clean, and animals were a natural part of life. I grew up with the feeling that nature was here forever, that it was stronger than anything we could do to it.

But gradually I realised that wasn’t the case.

I grew up at a time when unbridled industrialisation began to sweep across the world. At a time when forests were being felled faster than they could grow. I saw fields devoid of life, soil devoid of insects, rivers overflowing with waste. And a world that had somehow lost its respect for what sustains it.

Year after year, I began to notice the little things:

the birds that once sang by the house were disappearing.

The meadows where deer once roamed were turning to concrete.

places I thought no one would ever destroy were suddenly gone.

When I saw this, something inside me snapped.

I realised that waiting for others wasn’t enough.

And that if we only start acting when it’s too late, we’ll lose what matters most: our planet, our home, our roots.

At one point, I stood by an old tree that was due to be felled. Its roots firmly in the ground, its branches reaching for the sky – it had been there for decades. And yet it was gone, because apparently it was ‘in the way’. And in that moment, I realised that everything we love is actually terribly fragile.

And that every tree, every meadow, every lake has its own story that deserves to continue.

That’s why I’ve decided I no longer want to just stand by and watch the world disappear.

I don’t want to wait for someone else to do what we can do ourselves.

I decided to set up a project that would truly protect nature — not just with words, but with deeds.

And so the idea was born to start buying up land all over the world, one area at a time, and protect it forever.

To save meadows that would otherwise disappear.

To save the rainforests that would be felled.

To save animals that would lose their homes.

But I realised something very quickly:

No one can do this alone.

And this planet doesn’t belong to just one person. It belongs to all of us.

That is why I have decided to ask for support.

Not to raise funds for myself, but so that together we can create a force capable of changing the fate of places that cannot manage on their own.

The aim is to create a global nature conservation fund that will be

transparent,

international,

indestructible,

and forever dedicated to the planet.

So that we can buy up land that is under threat.

So that we can restore forests, save wetlands, and protect animals.

So that we can give back to the world what it has lost.

To really get the project off the ground, we need at least:

... not for luxury, not for advertising, but to save real nature.

Every euro means a metre of land that no one will ever destroy again.

Every donation is a voice saying that nature still has its defenders.

And every area purchased is a victory over what is destroying the world.

I don’t want to save the world on my own.

I want to protect it together with those who feel the same as I do.

That nature is not something to be taken for granted.

That it is time to act.

And that each of us has the power within us to change the world.

Wherever you live, we share one world.

And we are protecting one home together.

This is the beginning.

And I believe that together we can save the places that deserve it.

Not for us.

But for everyone who comes after us.
