Dear souls, dear supporters,

For more than two years, I have been carrying a deep longing within me. In January 2024, I had to leave Northern Cyprus – the place where I truly felt at home. The sea at my doorstep, the warm Turkish way of life, the sun, the freedom. There, my heart was at peace.

My second residency application was denied. I stayed four months longer because, deep inside, I simply could not leave. Now, a fine of over £8,000 awaits me at the border — without paying it, I cannot return.

At the moment, I am in Germany without a stable foundation. But my body and soul know clearly: my place is by the Mediterranean. Not only the sea and the culture I love are waiting for me there — but also my cats, whom I had to leave behind with a heavy heart. Some of them have ended up on the streets. I want to find them, care for them, and bring them to safety.

I have tried many things here to rebuild my life — built networks, invested, fought. But I have reached a point where my strength is exhausted. I no longer want to fight — I want to heal. And I know: there, I can become healthy again.

With your support, I can:

• pay the fine and re-enter the country

• secure flights and initial accommodation

• care for my cats (food, veterinary care, protection)

• create a stable new beginning

• rebuild my residency properly and securely

This amount will give me the chance to return with dignity — into healing, stability, and freedom.
