This year, for many children, the world suddenly came to a standstill. Their homes, full of memories and a sense of security, have been destroyed by the flood. These children, who until recently were eagerly awaiting Christmas, are now facing indescribable sadness, fear and uncertainty. In their eyes, instead of carefree joy, there are now tears and questions to which it is hard to find answers.

Our campaign,‘A Christmas Spark for Little Heroes’, has one simple dream: to bring back at least a little joy to these children. We want them to feel the magic of Christmas, if only for a moment, so that their hearts, full of fear and pain, may find hope. We wish to give them presents, but above all, hope – that the world has not forgotten them, that there are people who want to help them.

Why is your help so important?

Imagine you are just a few years old and your whole little world suddenly disappears – your favourite toys, books, that corner of the house where you felt safe. Imagine looking at the faces of your parents, who are fighting back tears as they try to keep the family together, even though they themselves are heartbroken. This is the reality for many children affected by this tragedy. These children need more than just a present. They need a sign that, despite everything, someone remembers them, that they are not alone.

How can you bring a smile back to their faces?

Every zloty is another step towards helping children affected by the floods to forget their pain and fear for a moment. Every penny is a ray of hope that, despite adversity, the world can be full of kindness and love. We want this Christmas, despite everything, to bring them joy. So that they can smile, play, and feel that someone cares for them.

What will we use the funds for?

All the funds raised will be used for:

• Christmas presents – something for every child to bring a smile back to their face, from favourite toys to books full of magical stories.

• Small sweets and festive wrappers to bring a touch of magic to their everyday lives.

• Transport costs, so that every gift reaches the little hands that need it so much.
