Hope: A Light in Our Darkest Times
Hope: A Light in Our Darkest Times
Description
This year, I decided to start a collection to help families and children in Soacha, outside Bogotá. For as long as I can remember, I've been struck by the sight of so many presents around the Christmas tree. I am extremely blessed with my life and try to live the best I can with the opportunities I've been given. Many would say I'm a privileged woman, and in a way, that's true. But I'm still a fighter, trying to survive in a privileged country.
I try to teach my kids the value of giving, too. So this year, we decided to make a collection to help families and children living in extreme conditions in Soacha, Colombia. I'm not a big fan of rules and bureaucracy. I don't have a lot of money, but I have my voice, and I will always raise it for a good cause.
I want my kids to get out of this bubble, to see the world as it is, and to discover the power of giving. There are many things in this world I hate, but I still believe in humanity. Follow us, support us, and help us help others.
lots of love from my little family
