The 'UNIORVIETO APS' organisation is launching a fundraising campaign for the fitting out and testing of a rescue ambulance to be used for all ordinary transport services. There are currently many vehicles for ordinary health transport in the province of Terni, but they are not sufficient to guarantee an adequate response to the needs of users (especially for hospital discharges).

It is not always easy to find vehicles and personnel for a service that touches a large pool of users, both in the Terni area and throughout the Orvieto area and our valleys.

It is therefore strictly necessary to supplement the vehicles already in use with a new ambulance equipped and dedicated to offering a useful service to the community.

Our association, therefore, in accordance with its statutory principles, has decided to contribute by setting up this additional service at the disposal of our health authorities and private citizens who already request it on a daily basis, even for simple social transport by car.

An extra ambulance means more efficiency, more concrete support for people in need of help or a simple return home after a hospital stay.

All citizens and companies can participate, even with a small contribution; we are convinced that in these cases many small bricks can contribute to the final result, which is in any case hard to achieve.
