A Christmas present for 165 children in Kenya ♥️

That is the number of children attending Nissii School in Mbita, Kenya – many of them are orphans or live in extreme poverty.

😇 During my first campaign, we managed to raise funds for the school’s running costs – food, uniforms and school supplies for the children. We raised a significant amount and set aside 30% of it to start building new classrooms.

🥲 Most of the classrooms there were made of corrugated iron with no flooring and not enough desks. In summer, it’s impossible to stay inside because of the scorching metal, and during the rainy season, the classrooms flood.

The children deserve proper learning conditions, and I believe that together we can help again. 💫

The old classrooms were demolished and, with the funds already raised, we laid the foundations for the new building; plenty of materials were purchased and the walls of the building are currently being constructed, but the funds are running out.

The children are on holiday at the moment and will be returning to school in January – I hope that together we can give them a wonderful Christmas present: new classrooms with proper walls and flooring instead of mud.
