Description
There are countless stray kittens living amongst us who have nowhere to go.
The shelters are overloaded; many animals simply cannot be accommodated. Many of them are afraid of people, so they cannot be rehomed, yet they deserve safety and a life just as much as anyone else. As a volunteer with the Lajka
Animal Welfare Foundation, I see day in, day out just how vulnerable these cats are.
Many are starving, freezing, or have to live in fear of being harmed.
I would like to create a safe haven for them.
We would like to buy a plot of land where they can live in a peaceful, protected environment, where they will always have food and need not live in fear.
The aim of the fundraising:
- to purchase the plot
- to make the area safe
- providing food and basic supplies
Every little bit helps.
If we can give even just one cat a better life, it will have been worth it.
