OUR STORY

We are Lars and Sandra, and we're reaching out to our community for a little support. As we approach our 25th wedding anniversary, we reflect on our journey together - a journey characterised by love, resilience and some unexpected hurdles along the way. Unfortunately, finances have been a big challenge for us. Although we work hard and diligently, we haven't been able to afford a holiday for over two decades. Our dream of exploring new places and creating cherished memories has remained just that - a dream. Our financial struggles began over 20 years ago when Lars was involved in a serious car accident that left us both hospitalised and in disarray. Despite seeking help from debt counsellors and tirelessly trying to climb out of debt, the burden has only grown over the years.We are now at a point where we are reluctantly selling our house, and even the flat we are renting is being sold, leaving us with a looming debt of 125,000 euros. The weight of these challenges has been particularly heavy for Sandra, who is deaf, adding an extra layer of difficulty to our journey. With your support, we hope to finally take the holiday we have been dreaming of for the past 25 years - a chance to celebrate our enduring love and resilience.
