Hello, my name is Hubert Młynarczykowski, and I’m a 32-year-old from Poland reaching out for your support during the most challenging time of my life. Until two years ago, I lived a normal, active life. However, since then, I’ve been battling severe depression, which has taken a significant toll on my mental and physical health. This debilitating condition has made it impossible for me to work or function normally, despite numerous attempts at treatment, including therapy and various medications.

The inability to work has drained my savings and left me with approximately €14,000 (PLN 60,000) in debt. The costs of medical appointments, therapy, and medications have not been enough to overcome this illness. I’ve launched this fundraiser to help cover these expenses, support my daily living costs, and continue my fight for recovery.

I’ve recently been offered a unique opportunity to participate in a clinical trial for a new depression medication, which could last up to 66 weeks. This trial could be a turning point for my health and allow me to contribute to advancing treatment options for others. However, participation requires me to refrain from working, increasing my financial needs. My initial goal was €4,600 (PLN 20,000), but to cover my debts, living expenses, and sustain myself during the trial, I now aim to raise €23,000 (PLN 100,000).

I’m also in the process of applying for a disability pension, but the decision may take months. Your support—whether through a donation or by sharing this fundraiser—would mean the world to me. I’ve had the first dose of the drug in the clinical trial. So far, I don’t feel any changes or improvements. But I’ll stick with the study and try to make the most of it. It’s a long road, but I hope it will be effective.
