Description
Hello everyone!
We are launching the Franco-Ukrainian initiative “Our Hope for Ukraine”.
As you know, since February 2022, Ukraine has been facing a large-scale invasion of its territory by Russia and is being relentlessly bombarded, whilst war crimes against civilians continue amid deafening silence.
That is why Thomas, Olena and Baptiste have decided to organise a fundraiser for the “Tsikava Hatka” programme run by the NGO The Small Projects Team. “Tsikava Hatka” means a small, warm and welcoming house that sparks curiosity, stimulates the imagination and provides a sense of security for children in hospital, in Ukrainian.
Each of these little houses is filled with books, toys and games, designed to bring joy, stimulate the imagination and support the emotional healing of children facing illness or trauma.
The furniture and all the contents are made directly in Ukraine. This is also an important gesture that helps support the local economy!
This programme is absolutely crucial at a time when Ukrainian hospitals are desperately short of resources, face near-daily air raid alerts and, in some cases, are being bombarded by ballistic missiles and drones from Russian territory.
We therefore need your help to reach our target of €2,000 to fund four Tsikava Hatka units, which will be distributed between the hospitals in Ternopil and Odessa – with whom we also work – according to their needs.
Please also follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn to keep up to date with our future projects!
Thank you!
Great initiative. Well done and best of luck!
