Description
Despite the fact that as a mother I am filled with pain and indignation, here is a letter expressing my feelings and experience
Complaint of abuse of power and neglect of children and families
To the kind attention of ALL
I write this letter as a mother, with a heart filled with disgust, indignation and shame at the treatment I and my family have received from social services, the social worker and the juvenile court. It is with deep sadness that I find myself denouncing the gratuitous harm that our children are forced to suffer, due to incorrect documentation and an abuse of power that seems to have no end.
Despite procedures to be followed and medical examinations to be carried out, children are torn from their mothers in the truest sense of the word, without any consideration for their psychological and emotional well-being. This behaviour not only violates the fundamental rights of children, but also represents a serious failure to provide the justice and protection that these institutions should offer. I am aware that there are cases where intervention is necessary and justified. However, it is clear that social services only intervene when it is convenient for them, without properly investigating family situations. This superficial and insensitive approach has led to devastating consequences for many families, including my own. I strongly call for a thorough investigation into these practices and for immediate measures to be taken to ensure that the welfare of children is always at the centre of decisions made. It is imperative that the responsible institutions take responsibility for their actions and work to restore the trust of the families that rely on them.
In anticipation of your feedback, I remain available to provide further details of my experience and to collaborate so that these injustices can be brought to an end.
