Hi, we are Jessica, Mario and Ilaria...we launched this fundraiser to be able to operate our little dog Pepper, we adopted her from a shelter in Sicily (we live in the province of Cremona), our daughter Ilaria is 11 years old and when she saw the photo on Facebook of this puppy, she fell in love at first sight. It took us a while, but after the loss of our Penny in March, we thought it was time to welcome a new four-legged friend... and so we started the adoption procedure. She came to us a month and a half ago, on 7 September 2024, she is about 6-7 months old...unfortunately, we discovered that she has bilateral hip dysplasia...she needs surgery as a matter of some urgency, especially her right paw which is currently the most compromised. She was examined at the Vezzoni clinic and the estimate is beyond our means... the operation for one leg alone costs € 4,270 multiplied by 2, plus medication and post-operative checks we exceed € 9,000. We trust in your good heart, even just a few euros can make a difference by helping us in this titanic undertaking, we want to get our puppy back on her feet and give her a dignified life!
