HELP US BUILD BRINGING PETS HOME



We are a team of four pet parents with a multidisciplinary background spanning technology, data science, product development, operations, quality, finance and communications. Our love for animals drives us, while our combined experience gives us the skills to turn that passion into something practical and meaningful. Our first step is Bringing Pets Home — an AI-assisted Lost & Found app designed to help people report missing and found pets, discover possible matches and connect more easily.

WHY THIS IS PERSONAL TO US

The idea behind Bringing Pets Home began after we lost our beloved cat, Charalambos.

We created Facebook accounts, joined countless groups, posted everywhere we could, searched endlessly and asked friends for help. Despite everything we tried, we never found him.

We still miss him every day.

Through that experience, we realised there was a real gap in the way lost-pet searches are handled. During an already frightening and emotional time, pet parents are often left jumping between social media groups, messages, and separate posts, trying to piece together the right information themselves.

The process felt fragmented, exhausting and far more difficult than it should be. We couldn’t change what happened to Charalambos, but we could try to build something that gives us better tools if one of our furry family members goes missing again — and helps other pet parents facing the same experience.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY

Bringing Pets Home is no longer just an idea.

The app is currently in a private beta testing phase and is not yet publicly available. Core features are already built, including Lost & Found reports, AI-assisted descriptions, possible-match suggestions, map-based discovery, messaging, reunited-pet features and community tools.

We are now testing the experience with a limited group of users, identifying issues and refining the app before making it more widely available.
