Who I am and what I’m raising funds for

My name is Theodor Grecu and I am a competitive athlete practising a new sport called Novaski, an innovative winter sport that combines skating and skiing. I represent Romania in international competitions on the Novaski Cross World circuit, where I have achieved top results, including world titles and podium finishes. Through this campaign, I am raising funds to be able to participate in the 2025–2026 world competition season.

Current situation

Although Novaski is a rapidly developing sport internationally, in Romania it enjoys limited visibility and support. Taking part in international competitions involves high costs for transport, accommodation, equipment and entry fees – expenses that are not fully covered by sponsorship or institutional support.

Why is this important?

Taking part in these competitions is not just a personal goal, but also an opportunity to promote Romania and a new, spectacular sport to an international audience. Every stage represents professional progress, visibility for Novaski and inspiration for young people seeking modern alternatives in winter sports.

What the funds will be used for

The funds raised will be used exclusively for:

• the purchase and maintenance of sports equipment,
• international and local transport – Beijing & Chongli, China
• accommodation and meals during competitions,
• entry fees for the official stages of the world circuit.

Every contribution directly helps to support Romania’s participation in the Novaski Cross World competitions.
