At just 3 months old, when life was only just beginning, a severe form of epilepsy turned little Kevin’s world upside down. Repeated seizures and aggressive treatments slowed his motor development, turning simple gestures – such as sitting up or taking his first steps – into real mountains to climb.

Today, at the age of 4, Kevin is a winner: his epilepsy is under control, but the scars it has left behind demand a new battle.

​🧠 His current struggle: Walking therapy

Kevin cannot yet walk unaided, but his little body wants and demands movement. Doctors and therapists have given us the best news: Kevin has huge potential and, through intensive and continuous therapy, he CAN start walking!

​However, neuromotor recovery is a marathon, not a sprint. To make progress, he needs the following every day:

Intensive physiotherapy (gait re-education and muscle strengthening).

Occupational therapy and sensory stimulation.

Special orthopaedic equipment and orthoses adapted to his growth.

​Recovery programmes in specialist centres (medical robotics yields amazing results at his age).
