Every single day, I go out to feed a group of homeless cats who live on the streets. I do this with my own limited money, because no one else will. These innocent souls wait for me—some limping, some shivering, some with eyes clouded by infection, some just barely surviving.

Many of them are sick. Some have painful wounds, others suffer from untreated diseases, and some are just skin and bones. They don’t have a warm home. They don’t have anyone else but me. I can barely afford their food, and I have no money left for vet care. And every time I see them suffering, I feel like I’m failing them.

I’ve tried everything I can, but I can’t do this alone anymore.
